Visiting other people's blogs.
I like to visit other peoples blogs and drop a comment or two. I went to a famous one today and it was a kind of disappointing experience. Everyone was kind of humorless and serious. I don't get it. You couldn't even get a little flame war started cause they were too lame to snark back effectively. I guess I have to watch were I go.

I mean really, there is more to talking about baseball than stats. What are they, fuckin' accountants?

I have an accountant I could talk to all day.
She's smart, she's funny, and she cuts a pretty nice figure, a sweet bottom line if you know what I mean. And I'm not just talking credit and debit.
Just remember FIFO. First in, first out. Repeat.

BTW I thought Altouse was fun today- no politics, no war news, no boring inside SCOTUS crap, no fighting over GW, no Obama vs. McCain.

The CFO was retiring and the outside auditor happened to be there. The auditor complimented the old CFO on his years and years of record-keeping and crisp concise timely financial statements.
But the auditor asked, you always had an account on the balance sheet labelled "ANTB". It usually had a relatively small balance so I never asked what it was used for.
The CFO replied "that is an easy one..Amount Needed To Balance".
