Hey they beat us fair and square but Boston still sucks!

The Red Sox have basically destroyed the Yankees winning five games in a row and beating us soundly in every phase of the game. Now we have a lot of injuries with Jorge Posada being the latest to go on the DL. Missing A-Rod, Wang and Posada is gonna hurt a lot. But it is still early in the season and we have a long time to come back. It starts tonight against the Devil Rays.

You have to remember 1976 where we came all the way back to win. We can do it again if we have any guts. The question is does anybody but Jeter, Posada, and Mariano have any balls. I have hopes that AJ Burnett and CC will suck it up and pitch great during the stretch run. That remains to be seen. But it is way too early to give up hope.

Maybe if a Yankee fan could bury one of your jerseys in the Red Sox stadium you could make some headway.

Hopefully we will keep "sucking" just like this, right through the next world series.

There are many ways for you to get even, Troop. Might I suggest your next survey be about beans?

Sorry, Troop, but dbp has it.

I just wrote a long and uncharitable comment, which, out of the sheer milk of human kindness, I deleted.

We are not crude triumphalists in Boston. No we are not.

Deleting the "milk" of human kindness seems a tad harsh actually?

Please don't make me have coffee with my apple tart! I might hate you for a long, long time!

Penny, I'm offering Trooper the "milk of human kindness" by NOT posting uncharitable remarks.

Nice Shakespearianl phrase, that.

Seems pretty clear to me.

As for me, except for one season in the late 60s, I considered it a good thing if my Cubbies got to the All-Star break without already being mathematically eliminated.

Laugh now Monkey Boys but the Yanks will be back. We will make a big move to turn it around. The worm will turn.

Yeah but 1976 was The Bicentennial. So it was expected that the Yanks would win.

Also, 1976 was Mick's last winning year?

Hey the secret is out. The Red Sox have been taking female fertility hormones. So that is what has made them strong and healthy and powerful pussies.
