The Man Who Shot Joe Paterno
Ransom Stoddard: Marshal, I was wrong the other day. But I was reading up on territorial law, and there it is, right there. Now, I'll draw up the complaint, take care of all the legal details - but you *do* have jurisdiction. Says so right there. So next time he sets foot in this town, you'll arrest him.
Link Appleyard: Anything you say, Mr. Stoddard. I'll be tickled to... death... *what* was that? Arrest *who*?
Ransom Stoddard: Joe Paterno.
Link Appleyard: Arrest Joe Patern... you mean Joe Paterno? Just as I was startin' to get my appetite back. I can't arrest him. He owns this valley.
Ransom Stoddard: But he turned his back on a child that was being raped. One of his henchmen kept raping your boys for year after year. And he did nothing. Surely you can arrest him for that?
Link Appleyard: That ain't how it works Mr. Stoddard. I don't know how it is where you are from but out here nobody can touch Joe Paterno.

Trooper, Do you remember the Eagles coach back in the 70's, Joe Kuharich, and the "Joe Must Go" signs @ Veterans Stadium. Someone even hired a plan to fly over during an Eagles game w/ a "Joe must Go" banner. Time to bring them out again in Happy Valley.
When the truth becomes legend...blog the legend.
A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Think that was the 60s at Franklin Field.
I just realized that Trooper is probably a Notre Dame fan.
It explains a lot.
