Brazil Brazil is the place to be!

After we finished our shopping spree we went to my friend Carlos's restaurant Brazil, Brazil which is on Restaurant Row on 46th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue. It was fantastic as we enjoyed yucca fries and chorizo as an appetizer and steaks as a main course. With many capirina's and bottles of malbac to wash it down. If you are ever in Midtown you should check it out.

Ate there on our last trip. Good stuff.

THE place for lunch, if you like authentic Szechuan and happen to be in Midtown, is the Szechuan Gourmet, on 39th (I believe). Be warned: If you go on a weekday, it's a popular lunch spot. Go early or late.

Hey prog say hello to Carlos the owner the next time you go to Brazil Brazil. He used to run Via Brazil which is a great place on
46th between fifth and sixth. They have great Brazilian jazz during the weekend. Also the same owners have Chaursco Platifromia on 49th with the rodizio with unlimited
skewers of meat and fish. That's as good as it gets in Midtown.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I don't intend to do much politics here so we can have some fun.
