What Not To Wear will be back this week.

We just got the call that "What Not to Wear" will be filming this week. It has been a while and a lot of work but we are happy to accomidate them. It will be the twenty third time they have filmed in the store and it is always great for busniess.

But it is a lot of work in the week before Christmas.

My wife and daughter love that show. I see it only obliquely.

I'm waiting for the moment when you appear so that I can blurt: "hey, I know who that is- that's the guy whose blog I'm on right now"

How meta that would be.

Jeez. All those cameo appearances should garner you a spin-off series.

Ruth Anne,

Yeah! "Trooper and Friends"! He runs a bar next to the dress shop where the husbands go to drink while their wives are shopping.

Wacky cast members could include a cow, some rabbits, zombie Marilyn Monroe...

Like "Cheers" for the modern age.

The twist, though, is that the only way into Trooper's Place is through the dress store's hidden panel. No street access.

It's funny Trooper. When I operated my biz the ONLY slow time I had was around the Holidays. Attorneys and Judges don't do anything but party, no work. There are a few exceptions.

Nice! We have our elevator pitch!

BTW, today is the 3rd anniversary of my being stuck here at Trooper York: link.

I blame reader_iam for leading me here and the rest of of you for keeping me here.

Troop and I started blogging at about the same time but I don't know when I first started commenting here.

I miss Knox, though.

I think Knox is around but she doens't like conflict and doesn't want to take sides. Which is fair enough.

People should do what works for them.

What Not to Wear has been very good to us but they don't put the shop owners on camera.

And if they did it would be the wife who would be the one on TV.

Knox used to comment on my blog from time-to-time. I'm Mr. Noncontroversial, as you know, Mr. Niceguy, Mr. Never-Says-Anything-Offensive.

Or at least Mr. Pointy-Breasts, if none of the rest of it works for you.

Allie--glad your daughter is safe and sound--enjoy her time with you and yours. She appears to be a wonderful soldier in the service of her country. God bless.

Congrats Allie. You are an unabashedly proud mama, and justifiably so. Tell her thanks and Merry Christmas

You are of course a svelte woman, but that must be a sturdy cat to have a grown person sit on it and live.

I'm thinking of the Sopranos scene when a drugged out Christopher sits on the little poodle, Cosette. The subsequent intervention was one of the best scenes ever.

The Dude said...

Yeah, I am pretty sure that was a stunt poodle. Pretty sure...

Who's the fag in the pic?

Seems to me that the show is a parade of women (and the occasional man) with varying degrees of mental illness. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I enjoy this show and kinda wish I get on it. Anyways, the 'she' from the show was in my dream last night...alomg with Anderson Cooper and Charlie Sheen. Carry on.
