Whose that author?

It's queer how out of touch with truth women are. They live in a world of their own, and there had never been anything like it, and never can be. It is too beautiful altogether, and if they were to set it up it would go to pieces before the first sunset.

I like to keep my heart out of the light, although it has been sliced open once and the doc said let there be light, and there was, and it was good. Other than that, however, Jake and the Fatman allow me to keep it in darkness.

WHAT???

This is the only place where you can referance Conrad and Jake and the Fatman in the same post.

Although when you think about it they both embody existential horror.

I read that book but did not remember that quote. I was much younger then and my knowledge of such matters was even less than it is now.

That's great, Sixty and Troop, so superior and inside the two of you that you don't even say who the author is because you two know who the author is and neither one of you, being selfish SOBs, think on those of us, us lesser beings who don't know the author's name and would like to be told the author's name but NOOO that would be lowering yourselves from the cognoscenti level to the peasant level go screw yourselves the two of you!!!!!!
