Errrr.....That's OK Hot Lips nevermind.
I'm good. Seriously. It's ok. Listen sorry I am not interested. I am spoken for. You're kinda get up there aren't you. Yeah well I think maybe you should expand your horizons.
Hey let me introduce you to my gardener. Just sayn'
And of course if your daughter and her buddies are laying around doing r and r in their skivvies and get into a pillow fight and she wants to tape it I will be happy to put that video up too. Just sayn'
RogerS, Showtime is doing a doc about the game. I think it will be out in a week or two. The promos look great.
When I was a kid my old man took me to a couple of Army games @ West Point. it was VERY impressive. Quite a culture clash from the Yale games we routinely attended!
Fast forward to my college years. We would make road trips to Newburgh to bop the students @ Mt. Saint Marys. We were the long haired bell bottom dudes. And we would sometimes be in bars w/ you cadets who were also on the prowl. Some cadets would scowl @ us as we competed for the poontang. But, it never came to blows. Were you ever hunting the quail in Newburgh? We did so 1971-74. I think you were before that.
Kind of off topic, but a former gf stopped by the other day - she had just gotten some docs from her aunt. The ex-gf's father finished 6th in his class at West Point, out of a class of over 500. I knew he was a smart guy, but dang, that impressed the heck out of me. He then served 2 tours in Viet Nam, came home and went to Harvard law school. Sadly, I never got to meet him. He died in his mid-40s - way too young.
nd--I graduated in 67 and then went back to teach there from 73-77.
The Hudson Valley is absolutely beautiful. The sense of history is overwhelming-during my cadet days I lived in the oldest part of the academy--my senior year lived in the same room that Robert E Lee did when he was a cadet.
Never hunted quail--but did hunt a whole lot of grouse on the post--great game bird--finest there is IMO.
Sixty Grit--your GF's dad sounds like he would have been pretty close to me. I ended up 10th in my class and because they put cadets into "sections" that is, classes of about 15, based on class rank, I may have known him.
I hate Sarah Jessica Parker, Robin Williams, Tim Robbins, Susan Saradon, the BJ Hunnicut guy, brussel sprouts, the Boston Red Sox, commies and well, lawyers.

Sometimes I hate that I am such a fuckin moron.
This is not one of those times.
I mean sometimes you find a photo that just speaks for itself. So to speak.
Colonel Potter approves of this post.
THAT is not my daughter, LOL! She's HOT even in Kevlar and helmet.
Of course he does. He's dead and he doesn't have to have her feeling him up at the card shows when they are authographing stuff.
I never said it was your daughter Allie. From the photo's on your blog she seems very cute.
Things are not always as they seem at Trooper York.
OK then, carry on.
No problem.

I support our troops and their right to wear thongs and pushup bras and have pillow fights to relieve their stress in a combat zone.
Oh Troopie Troopie, Troopie. LOL.
This photo looks lke a cross rip between Meg Ryan, Loretta Swit and Sally Struthers.
I was thinking more along the lines of Barney Frank (gut), Mick Jagger (lips), and Foster Brooks (hair).
Dude...remind me never to get on your wrong side. Damn, that is funny.
OK--morning shift is checking in--for those of you other than AllenS and me, I am proud to report the sun rose again this morning.
I am also saddened to report we (my alma mater) lost again to Navy--but at least we didnt lose by two touchdowns.

Caught the last half of the game. I wonder if the prez appearance had any political spin??

I feel like Hunter S Thompson has come back from the dead and is everyone on Trooper York, including Trooper.
Blake, if that is true, hide the weaponry.
