Whatever do you mean Miss Moneypenny?

"Whatever do you mean Miss Moneypenny?"
"Well Commander Bond I said that this vast expanse of a desk is going to waste. Waste not want my old gaffer used to say."
"What ever would I want to do on this vast expanse Miss Moneypenny?
"I could climb up on it and you could explore a much tighter space much more to your taste."
"Tighter Moneypenny? I think not.
"Unfortunately my old gaffer used to say that too.

And kindly omit the customary byplay with 007, he's dining with me this evening.

Choose your next witticism carefully, Mr Bond — it may be your last. The purpose of our two previous encounters is now very clear to me. I do not intend to be disturbed by another. Goodnight, Mr Bond.

Back to the trunk where Meade stores his sockpuppets. It's smaller than the one Jeff Dunham hauls around, but that's because socks take up less space. You can roll up a sockpuppet quite small after all.

I think Meade keeps his sock puppet's in the closet. Jives with our theories don't ya think?

Click on Troop's tag link.

I had an affection of sorts for Penny. I know Troop thought she was a drunk, but, she rejected every offer I made to buy her a drink in this establishment (this before the passcode was installed). Some were even convinced she was a Meade sockpuppet. I didn't judge her that way. Maybe I was wrong...maybe I wasn't. But Penny is gone...like bissage.

I do wonder where she went.

Penny was an obvious sockpuppet from the beginning. An emanation of Meade? Who knows. Oddly enough, Freeman Hunt spotted "her" as a sockpuppet from her first comment. It too me half a dozen, but I used to be much more naive.

but are Meade's sockpuppets crusty and is his peaches fuzzy baby*?

(*homage to rh who adores Imus).

I read that Baron Zemo was Trooper in disguise. I doubt it.

I read that Sixty Grit was Baron Zemo in disguise, but I doubt that too.

I could get in trouble for saying this, but all internet comments are generated by bots of varying sophistication. "Inga" and "Titus" are among the earliest beta versions.

The illusion of free will when "you" "type" a "comment" is generated by the Matrix.

I've been told I was someone else entirely, and I believe it. Can't touch this!

Here's a slice of commenter history, copied from a December, 2010 post, in which Titus jumps in to harass and deflect as is his wont and Penny queerly refers to "we" in the phrase "we will tell you" after letting me know she's not amused. The rules are not easy to figure out, but apparently everything is supposed to be amusing amusing until its not.

Penny said...
"and the little blue man...".

Have you introduced us, MamaM?

Some of us appreciate our "usual ways".

@Penny...No need for introductions, Penny. According to the TwitterBird you and I are considered by some to be one in the same. Either that or we are both puppets in black socks, creepy males who think alike and are committed to trolling for trouble. ("Penny and MamaM are males. They have very masculine qualities") But by far the most nefarious and complimentary suggestion is this: you and I are none other than The Meade himself! ("...Penny and MamaM are both Meade. Amazingly pro AA.")

Never underestimate the power of a woman. I've spent almost two years here being no one other than my self, strange as that may seem to some. Before finding the courage to comment, I spent a goodly amount of time silently reading comments and forming impressions. My first contact with you came through your late night quirky connections with Lem (another gem who often makes me laugh). Little blue men are everywhere, and things are often not what they seem; but whatever and whoever you are, how you present traces back to someone real. Again, no need for introductions.

Sexual harassment is so entertaining and au courant!

MamaM, your comments don't amuse me.

More importantly, they don't enlighten me.

MOST importantly, you have set out to consciously confuse good people, and we will tell you, there is no reasonable excuse for that.

Penny, my comments weren't meant to confuse, amuse or enlighten you. They were made to state that you and I are two separate commenters with two separate histories that go back several years. I don't know the "we" for whom you are speaking, but I have consistently represented myself and have not set out to consciously confuse anyone, least of all you. The fact that others have mistaken me for you or publicly assumed either of us to be sock puppets does not sit well with me. What you do with that is up to you, but I am not the source of this confusion.

What's interesting to me about this exchange in retrospect, is the consistency of my writing voice, which is pretty much the same then as it is now.

Penny, on the other hand reminds me of someone with a similar sounding voice under another name, but if I go into more speculation on that the cycle repeats itself, so I won't. Suffice it to say, I now have much more understanding regarding the inclination and motivation to do so.
