I don't want to give the impression that it was all bad on our trip. We were really working so we never had a chance to go to the beach or the pool. On our last day we had a late working lunch at the pier in Huntington Beach and we got to walk out on the boardwalk of the pier for about ten minutes to smell the sea air. The smog had more or less lifted and we were able to see Catalina Island off in the distance. All the surfers were out and frolicking in the surf.
I think I even saw the surfer bird.
Luckily he didn't shit on my head.

We've had cowmats on our floors for years. Until recently, in fact.
