Down in the fashion part of LA there were a bunch of hole in the wall shops that were selling cheap fabric. Some of it for a dollar a yard. It is horrible to the max. Yeeech.
When we went to the textile show we saw a lot of reputable manufacturers who are dying to make a deal. So that's cool.
I just don't know how all these little stores survive. I think that it is a lot like Chinatown. People come to get cheap shit.
Which is of course, cheap shit. Just sayn'

Yeah, actually, Peter, there are parts of L.A. that look like Mexico more than anything. And not the good parts, either.
