Go home and get your fucking shine box
Hey AMC is making a "Goodfella's" series. I don't know if it will track the movie directly or just be "inspired" by it. There are many great stories they can tell about the Mob in the seventies if they open it up a little. I don't want them just to reprise the movie. They should take a hint from "A Bronx Tale" and fictionalize it and open up the story lines.
I wonder who they are going to get to star in it? It's cable TV so there won't be any of the orignial guys. Plus they are all too old.
AMC did "Mad Men" and "Breaking Bad" so they have a decent track record. I am curious to see what they come up with.

You mentioned a very underappreciated flick in A Bronx Tale. It was very good and really captured the feel of the 1960's as well as any movie of any genre.
Got Rhythm?
Pesci shot Christopher in the foot, then Christopher shot some mook in the foot - hire him for the new show for continuity.
Meh too
The "shine box" ball bustin' guy Billy Batts was also Phil Leotardo in the Sopranos. Small world, the world of mafia entertainment, eh? BAM!
The guy on the far right in the photo, Ray Liotta, is also a real "piece of work" these days if you don't mind me saying.
He used to look like Desmond Harrington but nowadays he looks like Norma Desmond.
Didn't notice him, but that is a nice looking 1911 Joe has in his hand.
Phil Leotardo[Frank Vincent] was also in Casino. When he got clipped in the Sopranos it was in my top 10 scenes.
Crunchy!
