If you can find the original recipe for "Snow Mounds", I'll come up there and give you a kiss. It was with the original oven booklet and they made the best shortbread/snow covered [4x sugar] ever. I'd multiply that recipe and put it into the rotation.

Snow Mounds
6 tsp. shortening or soft butter
3 tsp. confectioners sugar

dash of salt
2 tbsp. finely chopped walnuts
confectioners sugar for rolling
Preheat Easy Bake Oven 15 minutes
Cream together butter and 3 teaspoons confectioners sugar. Blend in vanilla, flour and salt. Add walnuts and mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place 3 balls onto well greased Easy-Bake pan. Flatten slightly.
Bake 5 minutes. When cool, roll in confectioners sugar.
Makes 10 to 12 cookies.
Well I guess RAA should have to go down there (FL) and give Jason a kiss instead.
That's interesting.
Jason: You are beloved. Next time I'm in Florida, I'll give you a big ole kiss.
Thanks very nice Ruth Anne but Jason thinks girls are icky.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Ooh! Glad I found this thread. Sounds delicious!
I remember my mother searching constantly for a recipe similar to this. Her grandmother would make something like this but put a little tiny piece of apple in the middle. Like a prize. My mom always described these as so light they melted in your mouth. She never found the recipe.
