Whose that author?

The lunatic is all idée fixe, and whatever he comes across confirms his lunacy. You can tell him by the liberties he takes with common sense, by his flashes of inspiration, and by the fact that sooner or later he brings up the Templars.

I don't know, never read that, but I hear an echo of some common sense in that quote.

And the Knights Templar rocked!

I dunno who wrote it, but if it said "New Agers" instead of "Templars" I'd know who it was about.

Sixty you are one cool dude. I love it when you make a joke that only you and I get.

Nice.

Enos Country Slaughter used to do the same thing when he spit tobacco juice on Johnny Pesky.

Yeah, but as I have written previously, Enos was from up north. He grew up in a North Carolina county right next to the Virginia border - that boy was damn near a Y*nkee, gonna tell you what. And not the kind that you like.

Plus, Johnny Pesky was, and he played for the Red Sox. Say no more.

"The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value. I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress and grow."

Who says Thomas Paine has nothing to say about getting a TV show up and running despite TV people?

And what about Simon Templar? The man was a saint!

Hey, I know that quote.

I think @Darcysport is reading that book! (Going on five years!)

(I'm not mocking. I read the opening 2-3 pages and tucked it into the garage. It hit my maximum limit of Rosicrucian/Gnostic/Templar references in that first chapter.)
