Who's Shiloh?

Trooper York said...

Someone emailed me some comments this sockpuppet troll Shiloh made at that evil place.

Let's just ignore them please if we can.

We don't owe anybody an explaination.

It is just Meade stirring up shit. Let it go.

Trooper York said...

Shiloh is that famous Beagle that should go eat shit. Just sayn'

chickelit said...

I haven't seen Shilho's comments about you. I won't go looking either. I told him yesterday that I had him on moot.

Trooper York said...

Cool.

I am pretty sure it is one of Meades sockpuppets. He had a few choice comments that someone emailed to me because they can't let it go.

Hopefully they will forget about me soon. But I just don't think they ever will.

chickelit said...

Oh, I saw them.

FYI, I'm pretty gruntled hereabouts.

chickelit said...

Roger J did a fine job punching Shilho back twice as hard.

It must be hard being Shiloh day in a day out. Like being Jeremy/Love.

chickelit said...

I take that back--Roger didn't punch at all. He just reasoned with the beast.

ricpic said...

Seriesly, why do dogs do that? Is there nutrient in their pooh? Or is it a case of s*** for brains?

I really have nothing to say. I mean I strain my brain to say something, anything, but no, complete zero. There are these fallow periods that afflict all great men. Guess I'll just have to wait it out.

Trooper York said...

We have to get Titus's take on this.

He is our poo expert.

chickelit said...

Bunnies do it as a matter of course.
Once upon a blog, commenters were likened to bunnies.

The Dude said...

This is a silly post, unless of course Shiloh has access to this site.

It is not right to compare that dog to Shiloh. Shiloh is what that dog consumes.

Trooper York said...

I know Sixty. But I put it out as a safety valve to blow off steam so we don't feed into their bullshit.

I just didn't want anybody charging over there to keep the battle going. Let them forget about us.

They won't you know. The show is gonna hit in a big way. And they are going to be so pissed that it is gonna get real ugly. I can see it coming a mile away. So I want to work our kinks out as best we can.

Darcy said...

Poop.

Anonymous said...

Whoa, see what I missed while spanking ricpic?! I was wondering who this Shiloh is too.

Trooper York said...

And working out our kinks is not having Titus on a dog collar and leash walking down the Venice boardwalk.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

chickelit said...

I've asked Titus twice how his remaining clumber is. He won't answer, which leads me to assume the worst.

BTW, anybody seen Fred4Pres?

The Dude said...

Blow off all the steam you care to, Troop. This is your place to do it.

As for those who want to carry stories, well, what are you going to do, eh?

Shiloh can't comment here, and if I comment there it will be deleted in milliseconds. As I have said all along, they all deserve each other over there.

Lawnboy and dried up slunk meat - a match made in heaven.

Anonymous said...

If Meade is Shiloh, that would be sort of sick. Shiloh is a huge liberal, could Meade pretend to be a liberal to stir up controversy over there and get the page hits, so weird.

ricccpiccc, I'm looking for ya.... I got something for you......

The Dude said...

Fred4Pres has joined Bissage in the land of wind and ghosts.

Trooper York said...

I think Fred4Pres is either out living his life or he started a new persona.

Now he is a talented guy. What new blog with a really smart guy do we know just started up.

Moooooooooo!!!!!11

Trooper York said...

That's just a guess by the way.

I think he is just busy. Simple as that.

The Dude said...

Hmmm, you were almost too subtle for me there, Troop. Could it be? One wonders...

Chip S. said...

I put shi-lol on "ignore" status a long time ago. I suspended that temporarily to go back and read what was said.

She/he/it isn't worth the time it took me to type this comment, let alone the time it took you to type your post.

s/h/it is a tool and a fool, period.

Anyway, s/h/it's more extensive comment couldn't have been about your split from T.O.P. b/c s/h/it referred to the blog in question as "reality-based".

chickelit said...

Anyway, s/h/it's more extensive comment couldn't have been about your split from T.O.P. b/c s/h/it referred to the blog in question as "reality-based".

I thought was odd too, Chip.

chickelit said...

Now he is a talented guy. What new blog with a really smart guy do we know just started up.

But Fred pretending to be a woman would be like Love pretending to be a woman.

Or something like that.

Chip S. said...

I really did get the impression that s/h/it was talking about some lefty site, not T.O.P.

There was still that "elitist-or-disgruntled fool" remark, but that's just a flyspeck.

Trooper York said...

I think that was a slap at the reality show thing.

It feels like Meade to me but I could be wrong. The wording is just like him.

I don't want to respond to it or spend too much time on it but I knew people would see it and get pissed.

Trooper York said...

ChipS has it right. It ain't worth it at all.

chickelit said...

Unless they were women once pretending to be men.

It's a mixed-up, muddled-up, shook-up world except for Lola!

The Dude said...

Ell Oh Ell Ayyy!

The Dude said...

Hey, along with Gloria, by Them, that's two songs wherein women's names are spelled out. Name some others...

chickelit said...

Don't have access to mah music right now Sixty...I'm sure there are others.

I can name a song where a woman's name appears gratuitously: "Baby Blue" by Badfinger.

Dixie? WTF?

Dust Bunny Queen said...

Meade is a tool.

Gone power mad with his ability to delete and threaten commenters.

The interpersonal dynamics between those two is not good. Reminds me of my first husband who was a manipulative prick. Started off as a good relationship with everything sweet and lighthearted.... but eventually he had "mission creep" where he began to think he could/should control me.

Ha!

I think that is the problem "over there". But...really. Who cares.

Anonymous said...

DBQ, you have them pegged, I think it's just as you say. Really not worth caring about as you say, just interesting , human nature and all.

chickelit said...

There was still that "elitist-or-disgruntled fool" remark, but that's just a flyspeck.

Titus once called me "effetist" IIRC, but I've never been called elitist. Plus Titus is one of us!

Gooble Gobble!

The Dude said...

I have a cousin named Dixie. She's from the Delta. I'd marry her, if she wasn't such a distant relation. Oops, did I type that? Just kidding.

Trooper York said...

I just wanted to let people blow off steam if they were aware of being called elitists and stuff.

DBQ is right. It ain't a big deal.

Just a mere bag of shells.

chickelit said...

@Sixty: But it's such a great song song of male remorse and regret...it's universal. The use of the name personalizes it too much. I wish he hadn't written that in there.

chickelit said...

@Sixty: Then again, Clapton's "Layla" has the same problem. And Layla was a pseudonym. I guess they hit their intended targets better though.

The Dude said...

I read that the name Layla came from an old Persian poem that reminded Clapton of his situation vis a vis Patty. Who knows?

My remaining clumber is doing very well.

He actually had lyme disease which caused severe arthritis.

After 4 vet appts, mucho drugs, new food, he is finally coming around.

tits.

Titus said...

I go over there infrequently.

My sense is that the two of them are very jealous, envious and bitter about your reality show.

Knowing that Althouse loves reality shows you know she was thinking it could be some "in" for her and her blog and fame and fortune.

She's also praying that some movie person is going to want to use her and Meadsy's story for a movie.
tits.

Titus said...

I am only into my own pooh,

Don't care to hear about others.

chickelit said...

She's also praying that some movie person is going to want to use her and Meadsy's story for a movie.

Intersting casting potential there I suppose.

chickelit said...

@Titus: Glad to hear that Clumber II is getting better!

ricpic said...

ricccpiccc...I'm looking for ya...I've got something for you....

Don't hit me with that wet fish, Allie.

Okay, don't hit me with that wet fish, please.

ricpic said...

Hey Troop, did you give an invite to Pogo, TMink, Hoosier Daddy and some other great posters I can't think of at the moment over there that I don't see here? None of my business of course but variety is the spice of life. Even Madison Man. No, I must be loosing my mind.

ricpic said...

Or losing my mind. Either one.

chickelit said...

What about AJ?

ricpic said...

No one can control DBQ! She's a wild mare of the pampas!!

Now I went an' done it.

ricpic said...

Yeah, AJ is good too.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

I am evilbloggerlady, the cow twin sister of a certain other evilbloggerlady.

Trooper York said...

I would of course invite all of them but each is an individual case.

If any of them ask any of you just forward them my email and I will send them an invitation.

Pogo and Hoosier Daddy both have my email and could have asked for an invite if they wanted one. Trey used to participate here a lot but for some reason dropped out. Maybe I did or said something to piss him off. He is very religious, no pious is a better term so maybe some of my stuff got too rough for him. I doubt he would want to come back.

I am really not trying to exclude anyone other then Meadhouse and the obvious trolls. Please feel free to pass on my email to anyone who wants access.

Evi L. Bloggerlady said...

I went over to sis's place and saw Shiloh's post and did not think it was any big deal. As these things go. Compared to J's crap it was pretty mild stuff. Shiloh probably has not clue what is going on.

Trooper York said...

AJ would be welcome but he has my email and did not ask.

Also Peter Bella and Jason (the commentor) as well.

Some people don't want to be part of a private blog.

TTBurnett said...

Odd. Sitting here at the dining room table listening to Venice Classic Radio streaming. Second time today I've heard Haydn's Symphony No. 31, the "Horn Signal" on period instruments, but different and better than The English Concert version I heard on WGBH/WCRB driving into work this morning.

Blow your horn.

chickelit said...

Trey used to participate here a lot but for some reason dropped out. Maybe I did or said something to piss him off.

I don't suppose taunting him Julie Newmar's affections had anything to do with that? ;

chickelit said...

Some people don't want to be part of a private blog.

Jason told me on Twitter that he didn't want to mingle with a blog's privates.

TTBurnett said...

It's interesting how Fredrick the Great thought Haydn gave him a headache, and Mozart was caterwauling.

Of course, Fredrick's sensibilities were formed in an earlier era.

TTBurnett said...

Of course, "driving into work this morning" meant driving to teach at the only full-time Catholic Choir School in the country in Harvard Sq.

Wow. I'm an elitist, nach Meadehaus.

But, then again, I'm driving to work in a 14-year-old rusted Subaru Legacy wagon.

Funny how us elitists can't quite afford Audi TTs.

blake said...

Elitist?

That's the insult being leveled?

How sad. And ironic!

ricpic said...

Wow, Frederick The Great composed literally hundreds of sonatas for the flute! And a few symphonies. There were giants then. But there were giants right up to the mid-twentieth century. Churchill, the obvious example. Think of it that as recently as WW I, the French premier, Clemenceau, The Tiger, felt it was his duty to encourage, actually to bully Monet, a very old man by then, that he must carry on and complete his great water lilly tableaus for "the glory of France." I know. I'm all over the field. But what happened? Where did that immense ambition go, that largeness? Largeness of spirit. Oh well...
